the weight of choices
it's crazy how much weight each and every single little choice has. there are infinite "what if's".
what if you didn't go outside yesterday? what if you started that one project sooner? what if you gave a homeless man a few dollars? every single step you take changes your future. even if you do nothing, it will still change the future.
is the future already decided from the beginning? can you really even change it? who knows.
what if i never started writing these posts? what if you never started reading them?
the weight of each choice you make is immeasurable. one choice opens more choices, more choices open even more - it's an infinite cycle that can't be predicted.
today i had a guy refer me to a "big client." i didn't think much of it. probably like $1k - $2k like always, i thought. i underestimated this a lot, and in the end i closed him at 10x of what i was originally thinking.
now, what if that guy had never dm'd me?
ok yeah, i'll stop with the what-if things, but you get what i mean, right?
every moment is a fork in the road. every choice ripples outward in ways we can't even imagine. maybe that's terrifying, maybe that's beautiful.
probably both.
